The Siege of Mercatia was the first and only battle in the
Hollandia-Mercatia War, declared after an unprovoked skirmish
near Hollandia's borders with the Mercatian representatives.

The Mercatian capital was subsequently besieged and swiftly
subjugated by Hollandia's forces on the 26th of September, with
only minimal resistance from the Mercatian champions.
